Buyer Beware !!!!
I bought this as a new product not refurbished , it was a gift for my son’s birthday. it came in a little ziplock baggie , no paperwork at all, my son plugged it up and it would not charge nor would it turn on. By the time I finally got it back from him the return in 10 days had ran out so I got burnt for 43 bucks on this one. I wrote Amazon , they never answered my letters, it appears when you buy from Amazon, you are dealing with some guy out in the middle of missouri working out of his bedroom. send it all back and I ‘ll sell it to someone else, yeah I got suckered by Amazon, I went to walmart and bought one I could take back if it didn’t work, no thanks Amazon, we are done.

“You’re breaking up”
This was the first add-on I purchased after I got my 360. I am not a fan of the wired headset and frequently pull the jack out. From day one had problems with the wireless headset but tried the push through it for months. My friends were unable to hear me in a normal level tone so I found myself talking loud and sometimes yelling. It progressively got worst and finally people only were hearing my every third word so I invested in a new wireless headset. Unfortunately I ran into the same freaking problems with people not being able to hear me. After that foul I went to my wired headset that came with the 360 and have not had problems with comms since.

Here are the statistics:
It takes 6 hours to charge
Charge only lasts for 4 hours
Mic cannot be used while charging
This mic would have been fine with the charge time and battery power except that the mic cannot be used while charging. So if my battery is near dying I am forced to quickly tell my friends that i’ll be able to talk to them on Xbox LIVE in 6 hours, or else I have to charge everytime after use to make sure the battery never drops below 50% and the amount of charges and power drops drastically from doing this with the battery that these mics have. However it is light and comfortable and I still prefer this over the wired headband headset.
Not what I was expecting
I was happy to finally have gotten this in the mail today, but disappointed the second I tried it on.
It’s uncomfortable for me to wear. The large ear piece doesn’t feel secure enough on my ear and it wobbles as I move my head. The small ear piece doesn’t fit right either and also wobbles as I move my head. The whole piece just feel uncomfortable to wear while the wired headset does not.
Definitely too expensive. It’s a shame MS won’t allow other wireless headsets to function with the 360. I’ve seen some nice small comfy looking headsets that I think I would’ve enjoyed. I may end up returning this.
It’s charging right now and even though I haven’t tried it out yet, the fact that it’s just uncomfortable to wear is enough for me to return it -
