Although the game has very nice graphics, the gameplay is severely lacking. Tracks are hard to tell one from the other. The controls have a clunky feeling to them and the smallest rocks in the roaming mode tend to send Lightning flying into the air. I had a tremendous amount of problems with the game stalling. And, on occasion, Lightning?s tires would disappear into the ground or he would completely fall through the berms. On the brighter side, the game represents all of the characters in the movie and has a plethora of features and modes. The soundtrack is good, and the story mode features an easier version for the younger players. I just can?t recommend the game because it feels unfinished, a problem that seems to plague THQ.
Pro : fun characters
Con : feels unfinished
