Did you remove the paper after the overheat for the solderflow or do you leave it in? I have seen so many contradictory vids about how to overheat the thing. I was glad to see you take out the x clamps. I disassembled mine and was watching the vid and like whoa I dont have any of those. I have all the parts ready to go any last minute tips?

Dude if you are gonna use a heatgun atleast do it while the heatsink are off. The point of heating it up is to reflow the solder. And the idiot that says towels work they don’t. Don’t do it this way sure it worked but it isn’t going to for long. You also heating you capacitors which greatly reduces the life span.Check my channel for a legit fix no heatgun no towels professional equipment.

I don’t trust myself doing this… I’ve read atcls. on how it doesn’t work, but then again if it does, what if you break something? Or lose a screw?
