This week, Activision Blizzard proclaimed that the forthcoming Tony Hawk Ride will be sold with a skateboard peripheral. Yet the new skate game has now been made exclusively for XBOX 360.
Although it was thought that Tony Hawk Ride video game would be released for the platforms, Activision Blizzard has signed a contract with Microsoft, which will give the UK exclusivity to the Xbox 360.
However Tony Hawk Ride will be exclusive to the Xbox 360 in United Kingdom, there are no rumors of any similar deals anywhere else in the world. So it looks like the game will go on multiplatform everywhere else in the world.
Tony Hawk Ride will no doubt attract XBOX funs to the forthcoming E3 Expo this year, which is coming which will be held in June. People are very curious about how the new accessory (skateboarding peripheral ) will control the game, as Activision Blizzard have not let on that much as of yet.

According to Xbox Live Policy boss Stephen Toulouse, the new measures as XBOX Live gets tough on cheats that spoil the experience of playing games online for legitimate users.
“The bar is a little bit higher than that,” Toulouse answering Major Nelson, when questioned on the gamerscore measures being applied.
“The other thing it does is, it includes a tag that you have been cheating on your gamercard. That is a pretty big Scarlett Letter.”

Premium Crackdown Theme Coming to Xbox LIVE

Today, we have some good news, and some not-so good news for fans of the XBOX 360 game Crackdown.
The good news is that the game, released in 2007, is now getting its very own premium theme, which will be available for download starting today. But why would Microsoft release a premium theme for a two year old game? Could there be something more coming on the horizon?
Official XBOX Magazine investigates, and is told: “We are always looking for new ways for fans to connect with their favourite games, including the award-winning ‘Crackdown,’ and thus we created the new theme pack. But as far as future or potential projects go, we have nothing to confirm or announce at this time.”
They take particular note of the words “at this time,” wondering if a certain big-event industry trade show in the near future might be more suitable.

Xbox-branded sneakers would cost you $4,000 to buy ?

The dedication of fanboys knows no bounds, but this Xbox-inspired footwear would test the resolve (and wallet) of even the most dedicated “Xbot.” These custom shoes are not officially endorsed by Nike or Microsoft, but despite their unofficial status, the creator has been able to sell the things for a princely sum of $4,000.99.
“I have made shoes with 22k gold and diamonds on them,” explains Sole Junkie, the designer of the sneakers. “I look at my creations as functional art … not just ordinary sneakers.”
Such art worth the $2,500 asking price? Sole Junkie thinks so, and there seemed to be a fair few people with too much money and not enough sense who agreed with him. Thirty bids brought the sneakers up from $2,500 to the $4,000 sale price. Not quite enough to pay off the lawyers that Microsoft is sure to send Sole Junkie’s way.
So, how much would you have paid for these pimpin’ green kicks, and if you shelled out four grand, would you have ever dared wear them in public?XBOX.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/132336-xboxsneakers.jpg” alt=”132336-xboxsneakers” width=”620″ height=”359″ />

i have a xbox arcade. im getting an 20 gb in a few days can i start playing xbox live and how do i start playing xbox live. what do i need to play online.
To play online, you’ll need a few things:
-An ethernet cable or the wireless adapter (the adapter is like $100)
-An open ethernet plug, a nearby computer with internet access, or a wireless network
-A prepaid Xbox Live Gold card or a credit card
You’ll want to connect your XBOX to some kind of internet source to begin. If you’re connecting right to ethernet, simply take the cord, stick one end in the 360, and the other in the ethernet plug. If you’re using wireless, plug it into the 360 and follow the manual’s instructions. If you’re using a computer, then plug the ethernet into the 360 and computer (There are other things you have to do, so look around. I don’t know how.)
After you connect online, you need to go and upgrade your local profile to a Live account. There’s an option for that in the Marketplace blade, I believe. Follow the instructions to get yourself Silver. If you have a prepaid card, enter the code to get Gold. If you’re using a credit card, buy your subscription off the Marketplace. After that, you should be good to go.
