How do you save xbox 360 games onto the hard drive?

Published on Friday, May 8, 2009 by admin

I just got an XBOX 360 and I am trying to save a game on there, however, i can't figure how to do it and am having to start all over at the beginning everytime I play my game. Help please?

If u want to save ur game. press start button and it will give lot of options and there u can find save option. for saving u need memory card or HDD.

think this solves ur problem otherwise let me know ur game.

    • If you have a memory card you have to transfer it by going to your settings.

    • whenever you are at the My Xbox option, scroll over to the disk and hit Y, there should be an option that says "install to hard drive" or something of that sort. It takes about 6-8 GB depending on the game

    • it should save automaticly dependeing on the game so check the game menu first then check if u have selected the storage devide at the dashboard i think on the first page somewhere

    • make sure you have a profile set up then at the first time you start up a game it should ask you where you want to save and you say hard drive, also when you save in game you can change save location by pressing a button which is differant per game
