mine was like that too. after the penny trick, do the towel trick when it overheated let it cool down for about 30-45 minutes then take a blow dryer and and do it only on the sides so it would take the junks out of ur xbox then take out ur fan and clean it with a soft towel. then put everything back. wait 10 minutes. turn it back on it should work. hope it helped.
