i have had the 2 red lights on my 360 and the penny trick is the last thing im gonna try before i throw it out the window.

The white things "Heat absorbers" at the bottom are a "simple fix" for the heat to be taken away from the chips at the bottom. If you add copper (pennies) that takes away MORE from heat from the chips, it will cool it down more=no overheating, or a small chance or it!
when red lights apear on ur xbox 360 its basicly saying kill me now it might recover soon after or be permenantly destroyed without repair which costs a pretty penny

2 red lights or 3? If it’s 2, just turn it off and let it cool. If it’s 3, you need to send it in to get a new one from MS.
